As the adult men of a community who have benefitted from the struggles of people whom we didn't know and who didn't know us, we have committed to invest in the future as they did when they created opportunity for us. By committing one to twenty hours each year we are making community better one boy at a time. We recognize that each little boy who reaches adulthood prepared for his role as father to his next gereration is a permanent solution an influence that will lead future generations towards productivity and responsibility.  The Silverback Pledge is the agreement we share with the boys we groom for manhood and it expresses a purpose and definition for manhood that is committed to leading generations.

The Silverback Pledge:  “I will live my life as though generations depend on me,
and I will teach and encourage all of mine to do the same.”

All of our work is from a positive point of view. When we help our boys adopt a set of simple principles for living we help them have reasons to do positive rather than negative things on their way to a pleasant and prosperous lifestyle that they can share with their children. We help them understand how to get more out of life in a way that makes sense to them. We teach The Silverback Ways of The World.
